The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified children and family support worker. This is an exciting new opportunity to be part of our school. The role will be for 3 full days 8.15am-4pm. Days can be agreed for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will:

Have experience of supporting families and children within the primary age range
-
Have a nurturing and understanding approach
-
Have experience of the Early Help Assessment (EHA)
-
Have experience/interest in working with children with specific needs eg. Mental health, anxiety, low self-esteem etc
-
Have experience in supporting families through early help
-
Have appropriate knowledge of signposting parents and families to external agencies
-
Be flexible, forward thinking, innovative and highly energetic
-
Have an enthusiasm/experience in mental health and support our mental health leaders in school as part of our whole school wellbeing offer

Have an understanding of how children learn, including social/emotional development.

Have a passion for enabling the best outcomes for our children.

Be able to work well as part of our whole school team and school community
