World Book Day
2024
This year we celebrated poetry throughout our World Book Day. We focused on the poet Benjamin Zephaniah, with each class reciting one of his poems and performing it in a whole school collective worship. Children spent the day enjoying different poems and attempting to write some of their own. We were even welcomed by the Worcester Hive library, who talked to us all about their books on offer. Well done on another successful day! Check out the photos within the gallery.

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate World Book Day this year. The children looked incredible in their wide variety of costumes and we loved the character decorated spoons, which will now be used for recreating stories in EYFS and Key Stage 1!
Thank you also to the parents who came in to celebrate our 'Book and a biscuit' session. It was wonderful to watch the children reading alongside their families.
Reading is an absolute priority at Red Hill and we were so glad to celebrate it in such a creative way today!
