Welcome to Year 6

As Spring approaches, we look forward to the new life that enters our environment; daffodils that cling to the hedgerows and blossom that adorns the trees. We are looking forward to all that this term brings. Whilst this is a busy term ahead, we relish the opportunity to build our skills and knowledge. 

 

Curriculum  Spring 

Maths: In Maths, we will be looking at fractions, decimals and percentages. 

English: We will be looking at Francis and creating our own narratives. 

RE: In RE, we will be looking at salvation.

DT - We are looking at creating our own games to entertain a young audience. these will include electrical systems. 

Geography - In geography, we are looking at flooding and how this impacts people across the world. 

PE: In PE, we are developing our skills in cricket.

A great day at The Tudor House museum in Worcester learning all about how The museum was used in World War Two.

 Parent Showcase - History - We had great fun in our topic of history. We invited parents to attend our 'Showcase' Where we got to show our skills and understanding of World War Two.
